SEPTEMBER 17, 2012 — Kelli L. Sager, a partner in the Los Angeles office of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, has been named one of California’s top 100 lawyers by the state's leading legal newspaper. "The Daily Journal" has published the list for 15 years, and Sager has been included ten times, including each of the last three years.
"The Daily Journal" described Sager as "one of the most highly regarded First Amendment rights specialists in the field." The publication cited her successful work representing The Los Angeles Times and other publications in a suit under California’s Legislative Open Records Act against the state legislature, seeking the release of budget and spending records. Also mentioned was Sager's work in media and entertainment law, particularly her representation of Electronic Arts Inc. in two cases pending in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
