JUNE 29, 2017 – Mark W. Berry, a partner in the Bellevue, Wash., office of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP and chair of the firm’s Executive Committee, has been inducted to the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers as a Fellow.

Election as a Fellow is the highest recognition by one’s colleagues for sustained outstanding performance in the profession, exemplifying integrity, dedication, and excellence.

Berry will be formally installed as a Fellow later this year in conjunction with the annual meeting of the American Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Law Section.

Berry is the currently chair of the Employment Services Group at Davis Wright Tremaine, one of the largest such practices in the country. He has over three decades of experience working with employers to address complex employee relationship issues, develop effective policies, and resolve workplace disputes.

He regularly conducts training for managers and employees regarding respectful workplaces, hiring, diversity, performance management, and employees with disabilities. He also successfully represents employers in litigation and administrative matters involving wrongful termination, discrimination, grievance arbitrations, trade secrets, and noncompetition agreements.

Berry is regularly recognized by all of the leading lawyer-ranking organizations—Chambers USA, Best Lawyers, and Super Lawyers—as a top practitioner in his field.

Berry joins other Fellows at Davis Wright Tremaine, including Henry Farber, also in the Bellevue office; Seattle partners Robert Blackstone, Mark Hutcheson, Michael Killeen, and Michael Reiss; Los Angeles partner John LeCrone; and San Francisco partners Jeff Bosley and Judith Keyes.
