As a former engineer and computer programmer, Brian has extensive legal and technical knowledge of the business needs of clients that range from leading global technology and content providers, national cable operators, and international financial services companies, to start-up ventures involved with social and mobile media applications and services. He is the founder and editor of Davis Wright Tremaine’s Broadband Law Advisor, a regular blog about FCC broadband policy and rulemakings, and regularly contributes to the firm’s PrivSec Blog, focusing on digital privacy and cybersecurity matters.
Brian also regularly represents clients in litigation matters before federal and state courts, and state utility commissions, as well as the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on matters involving trademark applications and opposition proceedings.
