Haeryung (pronounced heddy-young) Shin is a business and energy transactional lawyer focused on representing clean tech and renewable energy venture capital and private investment funds, renewable energy development companies, clean technology companies and other emerging technology and growth companies. She is the chair of Davis Wright Tremaine's clean technology group. Haeryung has significant experience representing renewable energy investors in connection with portfolio companies including wind developers, downstream information product providers, and companies developing a wide range of clean energy technologies. She also has experience representing energy developers in project development and finance transactions.
Haeryung regularly serves as outside general counsel to technology and emerging growth companies, advising clients on issues relating to formation, corporate governance, equity compensation, technology licensing, joint ventures, development agreements, commercial contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and general business issues.
