Milt Stewart focuses on business transactions. He has 39 years of experience structuring mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations and management buyouts. Milt also advises clients on and structures domestic and international joint ventures and strategic transactions. In addition, he also currently serves as general counsel to a number of Northwest companies.
In 2007, Milt spent a one-year leave of absence in New York as special counsel to one of the 20 largest corporations in the world, helping the company manage and evaluate its worldwide outside legal relationships. Milt is confident the knowledge he gained there about what consumers of legal services want and value from law firms and lawyers will bring value to Davis Wright Tremaine's clients.
