Credit cards: We have a large team of attorneys that focuses on credit card payment and processing systems. We represent three of the largest credit card issuers in the world and can staff engagements of any size, complexity and sophistication.
Commercial lending: Our commercial lending team is one of the top groups in the West. We represent financial institutions and commercial lenders in commercial loan transactions, real estate lending, cash flow/asset-based lending, and securitized lending. The team has numerous highly experienced attorneys who can handle large volumes of transactions very efficiently, cost-effectively and with great responsiveness. We also represent financial institutions in capital leasing and government finance.
Commercial transactions: We represent Microsoft Financing Corporation on a global basis, handling their transactions related to financing customers. We also handle major credit transactions in commercial aircraft, motion picture production, construction lending, manufacturing and health care facilities. We also help clients with sourcing arrangements and distribution finance agreements in technology and other industries.
Luxury item transactions: We help individuals with the lease, acquisition and sale of luxury items such as airplanes and large boats.

Selected Experience Citibank Ongoing Drafting financing documents for borrowers acquiring mobile home parks, apartments and small office buildings. Pacific Crest Securities LLC Ongoing Representing technology investment bank in all leasing activity, both locally and in other states. Commercial finance company 2008 Represented the provider of $14 million in lease and secured finance deals throughout a contentious bankruptcy and post-bankruptcy workout. International bank 2008 Represented an agent bank (on behalf of a lending group) in restructuring $80 million of debt owed by a struggling agricultural processor, resulting in a negotiated payoff/takeout. WestLB AG, New York Branch 2007 Represented the lender in connection with a $120 million financing of an ethanol project. Virginia Mason Medical Center 2007 Issuance of approximately $250 million of tax-exempt bonds. Owners and operators of licensed senior living facilities 2006 Negotiated and documented $175 million cross-collateralized refinancing of 25 licensed senior living facilities. Seattle Art Museum 2005 Issuance of tax-exempt and taxable bonds to finance Olympic Sculpture Park and downtown museum expansion.
