Representative Experience
Counsels and represents individuals and families in both tax and non-tax aspects of estate planning, with an emphasis on personalized needs and creative tax planning, including: use of sophisticated tax strategies to transfer wealth among family members; preservation of assets through use of long-term trusts; creation of business entities to implement planning; and preparation of documentation relating to estate planning

Develops and implements sophisticated charitable giving plans, including private foundations, supporting organizations, charitable lead and remainder trusts, and donor advised funds

Advises and represents executors in the administration of decedents’ estates, including probate law matters, income and estate tax planning, preparation of required tax returns, and tax audits and appeals before the Internal Revenue Service

Advises trustees in the administration of living trusts and related tax matters

Counsel clients on pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, and agreements regarding definition of property rights
