Trial counsel in the successful prosecution in federal court of civil privacy claims against a distributor of pirated set-top boxes
Recently defended an international satellite carrier against copyright and trademark claims brought by the motion picture industry and broadcast networks
Litigation of intellectual property claims on behalf of cable television programming networks; recently won summary judgment for a program network facing defamation and invasion of privacy claims
Regularly counsels corporate clients who have been subpoenaed to appear and give evidence in criminal proceedings, and frequently appears in those proceedings on their behalf to protect clients from liability under various privacy laws
Obtained summary judgment in federal court in California for a wireless services provider on statutory and constitutional claims for denial of a wireless tower cite and
Won a major victory imposing statewide limits in New York on municipal authority to regulate the facilities of cable television operators
Won summary judgment for venture capital clients in complex, multi-state litigation relating to a radio station financing
Trial counsel in the landmark Maryland case on fiduciary duties, Kann v. Kann, 690 A.2d 509 (Md. 1997)
Trial counsel for plaintiffs in automobile rollover litigation, successfully defended sexual harassment claims, won summary judgment for a lead mining company defending lead paint claims, and successfully argued appeals in the Fourth Circuit and the Maryland Appellate courts
