Representative Experience
Complex commercial. Defend multinational in $500 million business interruption claim, criminal and regulatory proceedings arising out of rupture of Olympic pipeline in Bellingham
Class actions. Defend bank client in MDL class actions involving federal securities claims, derivative claims and ERISA claims related to subprime mortgages; defend national and international clients in securities class actions involving claims under 10(b) and 16(b), defend “blast fax,” ADAD and statutory overtime class actions
Arbitration. Represent national companies at arbitration in Seattle and Boston under AAA and JAMS-End Dispute rules
Contract and commercial torts. Represent businesses in commercial disputes and contract negotiations involving aircraft, agency and real estate
Intellectual property. Represent clients in patent litigation involving alleged infringement (tunneling equipment and shirt seams), patent license (software) and patent malpractice (games)
Environmental. Represent multinational oil company in MTCA cases and premise liability claims
Construction. Represent client asserting claims related to $100 million overrun in construction of SAFECO Field
Writs of attachment. Represent clients in prejudgment attachment and garnishment proceedings
Telecommunications. Represent telecommunication companies in commercial disputes and wireline spin-off
