Representative Experience
Angela Hart-Edwards, Of Counsel, advises Fortune 500 companies on diversity related crisis prevention, management, and resolution. She develops and implements legal vulnerability assessments, crisis management response plans and comprehensive diversity plans which address key areas of supplier diversity, strategic business partnering with minority- and woman-owned businesses, and workforce diversity. Ms. Hart-Edwards conducts workplace investigations and litigation threat assessments, and assists clients to develop and maintain relationships with community leaders and public officials.

She has represented the United States in individual and class action civil matters in District Courts. She has enforced, litigated, and tried cases in District Courts under all federal laws that prohibit gender, race, age, disability, sexual harassment, hostile work environment, and religious discrimination, as well as retaliation for engaging in protected activity, in the workplace.

  • Extensive experience in initiating, drafting, negotiating, and monitoring terms of settlement agreements and consent decrees, involving entire jurisdictions and Fortune 500 companies
  • Conducted many training sessions relating to pertinent issues in a case as part of settlement agreements and consent decrees
  • Directed investigations, developed case strategy, and conducted litigation activities, including taking depositions, extensive legal research and writing, and courtroom advocacy at hearings, conferences and trials
  • Have tried more than 50 cases with favorable outcomes in more than 40 of her trials
  • Met and conferred with many company CEOs, general counsel, and political officials regarding amicable resolution of cases and avoiding future lawsuits
