Practices before the Superior and District Courts for the State of Alaska, U.S. District Court, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as various state and federal administrative agencies. Representative experience includes the following:
Represented international business entity in a variety of trademark-related actions before the United States Patent and Trademark Office
Represented the Exxon Qualified Settlement Fund Administrator in numerous claims disputes before the United States District Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals
Defended local employer against wrongful termination and retaliatory discharge claims in extended jury trial before the Alaska Superior Court in Homer, Alaska
Defended national employer against claims of discrimination and retaliatory discharge before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals
Defended national employer in wage and hour class action in Anchorage Superior Court and in arbitration encompassing a variety of state wage-related claims directed against client's business operations throughout the state of Alaska
Represented Ketchikan corporation in contracting dispute litigation in Ketchikan Superior Court
Defended foreign corporation in contracting dispute litigation in Anchorage Superior Court
