Litigation on behalf of software game developer in a breach of contract action against the game distributor
Trial and appellate work defending Boise Cascade in nuisance action relating to crop damage from discharges from pulp and paper mill
Litigation against the City of Edmonds relating to the discharges from the City’s wastewater treatment plant under takings law, negligence, nuisance, trespass and strict liability
Litigation defending Shell Oil Company in four separate lawsuits seeking damages from Shell under state and federal environmental laws and under negligence, nuisance, trespass, waste and strict liability
Litigation defending McCall Oil Company in private federal court environmental cost recovery action under state and federal environmental laws and under negligence, nuisance, trespass and strict liability theories
Litigation on behalf of Seafirst Bank in private cost recovery action seeking damages under state and federal environmental laws, negligence, nuisance and trespass
Briefing on behalf of plaintiff classes in federal trial and appellate court litigation in Alaska against the Exxon Corporation with respect to the Exxon Valdez oil spill (verdict of $5 billion for plaintiffs)
