Ten years in the private practice of law, primarily representing business clients
Seventeen years as in-house counsel for U.S. Bank, including over ten years as in-house counsel for its Special Assets Group
Represented financial institutions in all aspects of commercial lending, from origination of loans, through workouts, to bankruptcies, foreclosures and other legal actions to protect and enforce legal rights. “Cradle to grave” experience involved all types of commercial loans, including those secured by real estate, accounts and inventory, and other business assets, and unsecured loans. Documented complex loan transactions, negotiated amendments and workout agreements, and appeared in state, federal and bankruptcy courts to protect and enforce lender’s rights.
Represented banks in commercial disputes, especially involving forged checks and other negotiable instrument problems
