Riley's practice focuses on franchising, distribution counseling, intellectual property and general business matters. In his national practice, he advises start-up to established businesses with an emphasis on the hospitality industry, serving as outside general counsel to a variety of restaurant groups, franchisors, and multi-unit franchisees. Riley has a substantial amount of practical hospitality industry experience, having managed and owned successful restaurants in the Los Angeles area before entering the practice of law. He is an active participant in the firm's Distribution Counseling and Hospitality groups, and is involved in various local and national trade and legal associations.
