Representative Experience
Represents business, industrial and individual clients on a wide range of environmental matters involving state and federal environmental laws and regulations, including issues involving contaminated lands, air quality, water quality, underground storage tanks and hazardous substances, such as:
Business mergers and acquisitions, real property transactions and financing, with particular experience in transactions involving contaminated lands and manufacturing operations
Air permits for refineries, manufacturing facilities, power plants, cogeneration units, and foundries
Acquisition and development of power plants and cogeneration units
Governmental enforcement actions, including administrative proceedings
Contaminated property remediation and redevelopment
Federal and state Superfund matters and proceedings involving soil and groundwater remediation, natural resource damages claims, contribution and cost-recovery matters
Environmental insurance coverage disputes and negotiating environmental insurance products
Environmental compliance counseling and permitting, including issues under the CAA, RCRA, CWA and EPCRA
