| The firm entered New York City in 1998 when 12 media lawyers
from the firm of Lankenau Kovner & Outten LLP merged with
DWT, becoming a key component of our nationally recognized communications,
media and information technologies practice. Clients include
national media organizations, newspapers and book publishers
such as AOL Time Warner, Random House, Viacom, Wenner Media
(Rolling Stone and US
Weekly magazines) and Sesame Workshop. In 2003, we added
10 lawyers from the renowned intellectual property boutique
of Kay & Boose LLP, who also represented many of these clients
and whose experience includes both media/IP litigation and a
wide range of entertainment transactions for clients in film,
television, theater, music, publishing and related entertainment
industries. Today the office numbers around 30 attorneys practicing
in litigation, media, intellectual property, entertainment,
advertising, corporate/commercial business law, and trusts and
estates. |
