Minh Ngo focuses her practice on employment and business immigration law, including:

Employment disputes and counseling
Minh has successfully defended employers against state and federal agency charges, served as second chair on a number of litigation matters, and has helped clients draft personnel policies to avoid costly litigation. She has extensive litigation and advice and counsel experience in the areas of discrimination, harassment and non-competes.

Immigration counseling
Minh's employment counseling practice includes expertise in business immigration matters, including I-9 compliance, work visas and the green card process. She has advised clients on E-verify rules and regulations, social security no-match letters and related anti-discrimination laws.

Representative Experience

Employment related matters for Virginia Mason Medical Center

Successfully defended Virginia Mason against city, state, and federal agency charges by employees and former employees of discrimination, harassment and other employment-related claims. (2009-present)

JPMorgan Chase Bank N.A. v. Bach, et al.

Represented JPMorgan Chase against 16 former mortgage loan officers pursuing claims including breach of fiduciary duties, breach of nonsolicitation and nondisclosure agreements, and violations of the Uniform Trade Secrets Act, RICO, and Computer Fraud and Abuse Act. Obtained temporary restraining order preventing solicitation of customers and requiring the return of all confidential information. Settled after obtaining multiple extensions of TRO. (W.D. Wash. 2009)

Klinefelter v. Bank of America

Won summary judgment on behalf of Bank of America in a wrongful termination case alleging discrimination, harassment and retaliation. (2009)

JCA Corporation v. Detty

Obtained restraining order and injunction enforcing noncompetition agreement against former division manager attempting to work for competitor in Florida. 07-2-11180-8 (King Cnty. (Wash.) Super. Ct. 2007)
