Representative Experience

Defense of whistleblower claims

Obtained a complete defense verdict after a seven-day jury trial on claims made by a company’s former chief legal officer alleging retaliation in violation of the whistleblower protection provisions of the Sarbanes-Oxley and Dodd-Frank Acts. (W.D. Wash. 2017, 9th Cir. Ongoing)

Carrington et al. v. City of Tacoma

Represented operator of a FERC-licensed hydroelectric project in action brought by landowners alleging state-law claims for property damage. Obtained dismissal of all claims with prejudice. (W.D. Wash. 2016)
