Richard Gibbs counsels clients on regulatory and transactional matters with an emphasis on communications and emerging businesses and technology. In addition, Richard counsels clients on technology agreements, commercial arrangements, general business issues, intellectual property issues and a variety of corporate transactions. He represents entities ranging from emerging businesses to national and international publically traded companies in the communications, wireless, Internet, and financial services industries.

Richard is a registered patent attorney. He has a diverse background that includes knowledge of electrical, computer software and hardware, and telecommunications technologies, which allows him to work effectively with a variety of clients on a wide range of technologies. His previous experience working at a wireless telecommunications company, an Internet service provider, and a global consulting firm enables him to offer strategic business insight in addition to helping clients navigate legal challenges.
