Represent in administrative and judicial proceedings pertaining to SSJID's plan to expand the scope of its services to include retail electric service within its existing service territory in California's Central Valley, including CEQA compliance and administrative proceedings before the California Public Utilities Commission, San Joaquin County Planning Commission, and San Joaquin Local Agency Formation Commission. Mergers & acquisitions for Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp.

Formed a new investor-owned electric utility, California Pacific Electric Company, LLC (CalPeco) consisting of electric utility assets (in the Lake Tahoe area of California) previously operated by Sierra Pacific Power Co.
