Negotiate power purchase agreements on behalf of electric generators, energy marketers and energy service providers to meet California resource adequacy and renewable portfolio standard compliance obligations. (Ongoing)

Mergers & acquisitions for Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp.

Formed a new investor-owned electric utility, Liberty Utilities (CalPeco Electric) consisting of electric utility assets (in the Lake Tahoe area of California) previously operated by Sierra Pacific Power Co. Represent independent power producer before the CPUC with respect to rulemaking addressing resource adequacy issues and establishing flexible performance characteristics for energy generating facilities. (Ongoing)

Regulatory - electric for South San Joaquin Irrigation District

Represent in administrative and judicial proceedings pertaining to SSJID's plan to expand the scope of its services to include retail electric service within its existing service territory in California's Central Valley, including CEQA compliance and administrative proceedings before the California Public Utilities Commission, San Joaquin County Planning Commission, and San Joaquin Local Agency Formation Commission. Development - renewable for Bear Mountain Wind Limited Partnership
