| Ward Buringrud represents lenders in structuring, negotiating and documenting complex credit transactions. He assists lenders and borrowers in all areas of loan and lease negotiation and documentation, including corporate aircraft and vessel transactions.
Finance Transactions
- Represents lenders in structuring, negotiating and documenting complex single bank and multi-bank secured and unsecured credit transactions
- Represents clients in multi-creditor transactions, syndications, participations, subordinations, intercreditor agreements and collateral agency arrangements

Aircraft Transactions
- Represents purchasers and sellers of corporate aircraft from and to domestic and foreign sellers and purchasers

- Represents purchasers and sellers in connection with like-kind 1031 exchange transactions, including forward and reverse exchanges
- Represents aircraft owners and managers in negotiating aircraft management agreements, pilot services agreements and hangar agreements
- Represents aircraft owners and operators in negotiating time sharing and joint ownership agreements
Selected Experience Represented client in the simultaneous exchange of a Challenger 604 aircraft for a Global Express aircraft. (2008) Represented client in the sale of a Lear 45 aircraft and the purchase of a Cessna Citation X aircraft in a forward 1031 exchange transaction. (2008) Represented agent bank in a $55,000,000 syndicated secured revolving credit facility (with letter of credit subfacility) to electronics manufacturer subject to borrowing base requirements and guaranteed by its subsidiaries. (2008) Represented lender in a $45 million single bank secured revolving credit facility (with letter of credit subfacility) and term loan facility to medical equipment manufacturer guaranteed by subsidiaries. (2008) Represented borrower in a $45 million syndicated secured revolving credit facility to oil field service business. (2008) Represented lender in a $133,000,000 single bank direct pay letter of credit to support subordinate lien revenue bonds issued by a port authority. (2008) Represented client in the structuring of management agreement, multiple dry leases, and multiple pilot services agreements to facilitate use of aircraft owned by separate parties under Part 91. (2007) Represented agent bank in a $295 million syndicated secured revolving credit facility (with swing line and letter of credit subfacilities) to marine transportation holding company guaranteed by subsidiaries. (2007) Represented borrower in a $100 million syndicated revolving credit facility to finance company secured by finance contracts. (2007) Represented purchaser in the purchase of two Challenger 604 aircraft from seller in Asia with simultaneous resale to buyers in the U.S. and Europe.
