Bill Miner focuses his practice on assisting his clients in litigating at the trial court level of state and federal courts and private arbitration. Bill handles a broad range of litigation matters including contract disputes, construction lien disputes, collection of debts, residential and commercial real estate disputes, title/boundary disputes and disputes relating to wills and trusts. Bill is accomplished in real estate litigation including quiet title actions, timber trespass, commercial tenancy disputes (representing both commercial landlords and tenants), residential tenancy disputes involving manufactured home communities and floating home communities (only representing landlords) and trust litigation, including breach of trust, removal of trustees and Will contests. Bill also advises businesses and individuals on real property matters including landlord-tenant issues, titles, boundaries and real estate transactions.

Vitacost.com v. Healthwright Products

Case was brought in Florida Federal Court against our client, Healthwright Products, an Oregon company. Successfully transferred action to Oregon. (2009)

Fidel Nanez v. Jeanette Kent et al.

Successfully cleared title by gaining warranty deeds to our insured after filing quiet title action and tracking down defendants in the Netherlands. (Marion Cnty. (Or.) Cir. Ct. 2008)

Floor By Design v. Kramer

Successfully prosecuted foreclosure of a subcontractor's lien. (2008)

Healthwright Products v. Tasty Eats

Obtained temporary restraining order against defaulted commercial tenant of over removal of equipment subject to landlord lien which enabled commercial landlord, Healthwright Products, to be paid in full. (Clackamas Cnty. (Or.) Cir. Ct. 2008)

Pacific Courier Services v. Pacific Northwest Title

Gained full defense verdict after four-day jury trial on breach of contract case brought by courier service against title company. (Multnomah Cnty. (Or.) Cir. Ct. 2008)

Thomas Jeziorski v. Ticor Title Insurance

Convinced plaintiff's counsel to dismiss Ticor through letters, a draft Rule 21 motion and threat of sanctions on escrow negligence claims. (Washington Cnty. (Ore.) Cir. Ct. 2008)

Buechley v. Buechley

Successfully defended dispute between family members in a family limited liability company. (2007)

Rose v. Nordt

Successfully prosecuted, through trial, claim of timber trespass. Client was awarded statutory treble damages and damages for mental anguish. (2006)

Minnich v. Sundance Shutter

Successfully defended, through trial, small company in contract rescission and unfair trade practices claim.

Renshaw v. Pacific Northwest Title, Inc.

Successfully defended, through trial, title company in dispute over escrow instructions.
