David Rocker focuses on products liability litigation and client counseling, working on behalf of defendants and plaintiffs in litigation and regulatory affairs. He has handled commercial loss, property damage, breach of warranty, wrongful death and tainted food and drugs cases. David has extensive experience managing hazard reporting, as well as voluntary and involuntary recalls for a variety of foreign and domestic manufacturing companies. He also practices domestic and international complex commercial litigation.

Crumley v. Watson Pharmaceuticals

Defended manufacturer of generic antibiotic in strict liability action alleging that drug caused a serious allergic reaction. (2010)

Managed complex electronic and paper discovery process for litigation involving Louisiana Pacific building products. (2007)

Newport Pacific Corp. v. Moe's Southwest Grill LLC

Achieved favorable settlement in trademark infringement case for Oregon landmark restaurant. (D. Or. 2007)

Product liability counseling for Vulcan Inc.

Managed all aspects of new product launch for Vulcan Inc.'s Flip Start computer including labels, warnings, and supply chain contracts. (2007)

Freed v. ISITE et al.

Represented client in a 'bet the company' complex commercial matter. Jury returned a verdict for our client on all counter-claims against plaintiff and on all but one claim resulting in a net-positive judgment in client's favor. (D. Or. 2006)

Jon Stocking Enterprises v. The Raintree Group LLC

Repelled hostile takeover and ouster attempt by out-of-state investors on behalf of Oregon chocolate company owned by Jon Stocking Enterprises. (D. Or. 2006)

Dryvit Systems, Inc. and Sto Corp. Litigation

Represented Dryvit Systems, Inc., and Sto Corp. in the Pacific Northwest in a series of lawsuits related to alleged defects in the exterior insulation and finish cladding systems (commonly known as EIFS) manufactured and sold by these companies. Read more
