Jane J. Whang

Jane Whang focuses on critical regulatory and policy issues affecting telecommunications companies. As a former staff counsel and legal advisor at the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) and as an attorney with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Jane gained valuable insight and experience that informs her work with telecommunications clients. Her background representing the firm’s clients includes a full spectrum of telecom issues, including competitive entry, environmental review, mergers and transfers, interconnection agreements, dealer agreements, fiber leases and consumer protection concerns. Jane has represented clients before the FCC, the CPUC and other state utilities commissions.
