Nicholas Kampars is a trial lawyer who represents clients on a variety of commercial matters. Nick has tried six cases to a jury and regularly appears in both state and federal courts. He frequently helps food and beverage clients with contamination and outbreak cases, and assists other clients in the hospitality industry on matters ranging from regulatory compliance to contractual disputes. Nick also represents employers faced with discrimination, harassment or retaliation claims, and has both prosecuted and defended cases involving trade secrets and the disclosure of confidential information.

Iqbal v. Pointil Systems, Inc.

Defended Pointil Systems against claims of employment discrimination. Obtained summary judgment on all claims. (Multnomah Cnty. (Or.) 2011)

Represented produce distributor against claims associated with Salmonella outbreak in Kentucky. (2011)

Mosleh v. Whole Foods Market

Defended claims of assault, conversion, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Prevailed on motion to dismiss.

Amerivest Financial, LLC, v. Pacific Northwest Title and Escrow Company, et al.

Defended Pacific Northwest Title against claims under Oregon Securities Act and for allegedly aiding and abetting breach of fiduciary duty, fraud and breach of contract. Obtained jury verdict in favor of Pacific Northwest Title after two-week trial. (Multnomah Cnty. (Or.) 2009)

J.E. Dunn Northwest, Inc. v. Salpare Bay, LLC, et al.

Successfully represented construction lien claimant in two week trial. (Multnomah Cnty. (Or.) 2008)

Mathieson v. Yellow Book

Defended Yellow Book against claims of employment discrimination. Obtained summary judgment on all claims. (D. Or. 2008)

Morgan v. Pitney Bowes

Successfully achieved dismissal of employment discrimination claims. (D. Or. 2007)
