Peter’s prior enterprise software industry experience informs his approach to meeting the financial, technical and business needs for clients that include the nation’s leading financial institutions, global technology companies, payments start-up and venture-stage companies, and consumer loyalty platforms.
Peter represents clients on agreements involving credit and debit card issuance, credit card loan origination and marketing agreements, payment processing, and virtual wallet technologies. In addition, Peter counsels clients on federal and state law compliance with various financial, privacy, and consumer protection laws and regulations, including the Electronic Fund Transfer Act, the Bank Secrecy Act and related FinCEN regulations, Unfair, Deceptive and Abusive Acts and Practices (UDAAP) issues, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and state debt collection laws, the Federal Trade Commission Act, federal and state money transmitter laws, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, and international remittances.
