Bob Newell does complex commercial litigation. Viacom v. Hollywood Entertainment

Kaiser Foundation Health Plan v. Alta Bates Hospital

Represented plaintiff against hospital in a claim for breach of contract involving a complicated service provision contract. (Arbitration)

Anesthesiologists Associated Inc. v. ProDX

Represented plaintiff medical billing company against software developer for breach of contract and negligence. Jury verdict for plaintiff. (Multnomah Cnty. (Or.) Cir. Ct. 2006)

Black v. Arizala

Represented issuer in securities fraud claim arising out of FCC auction of licenses to mobile telephone company in Puerto Rico. Resulted in judgment for our client. (Multnomah Cnty. (Or.) 2005)

FTC v. Whole Foods

Represented third party competitor against disclosure of trade secrets. (D.D.C.)

Oregon Health & Science University v. Vertex Pharmaceuticals

Represented plaintiff in a lawsuit against a drug manufacturer in a claim of breach of contract and various patent related issues. (D. Or.) 2003
