Sarah English Tune

Chair, National Corporate and Business Transactions Practice
Sarah Tune chairs the firm's corporate and business transactions practice. Sarah Tune represents companies and investors, primarily in the consumer sector, and specializes in the food and beverage and restaurant industries. Sarah’s expertise is leading, structuring, and negotiating mergers and acquisitions, equity financings, and other complex business transactions. She often serves as general outside counsel, providing clients with strategic and practical advice on strategic transactions and day-to-day operational matters with an eye toward their broader business goals.

Numerous multi-unit acquisitions for Bell American Group LLC, a restaurant holding company with more than 176 Yum! branded restaurants, including a 76-unit acquisition in 2012, a 62-unit acquisition in 2013, a 31-unit acquisition in 2014, a 12-unit acquisition in 2015, and a 51-unit acquisition in 2016. Double Down Interactive, LLC

Represented Double Down Interactive, LLC, a social gaming company, and its majority equity holder in its $500 million sale to International Game Technology. (2012)

Clearwire Corporation

  • Represented Clearwire in its equity financings and M&A transactions from 2003 until its sale to Sprint in 2013, including in the $14.5 billion merger of Sprint and Clearwire WiMAX businesses and investment in Clearwire of $3.2 billion by Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Bright House Networks, Google, and Intel.   • Managed and negotiated Clearwire's acquisition and leasing of 2.5 GHz spectrum to create its nationwide spectrum footprint, including the purchase in 2007 of AT&T’s portfolio of 2.5 GHz spectrum for $300 million. (2005-2013)
