Way to Go Live: A Framework for New IT
Implementation
By Joseph
E. Addiego
[May 2005]
Choosing the right Health Information Technology (HIT) system for
your organization can be a daunting task. Given the increasing complexity
of such systems, the expansive legal issues and implications they
raise, and the growing demand for such systems, it is more important
than ever to find a HIT system that suits your organization's needs
- both current and future. Having a clear idea of what you need
and developing a plan for identifying the best fit for your organization
are essential to choosing the right HIT system. In a recent issue
of Healthcare Financial Management magazine, Davis Wright
Tremaine Partner Joe Addiego outlines a planning process for making
these decisions, which he developed based on lessons learned from
litigating numerous IT implementation disputes. To read the full
article, please select the link "Way
to Go Live: a Framework for New IT Implementation."
Davis Wright Tremaine health law attorneys have substantial experience
