Obtaining Working Visas for New Hires
We help employers apply for working visas for
new hires from foreign countries, such as TN ("Treaty NAFTA") visas
for professional workers from Canada, H-1B visas for professional
workers from other countries, and L-1A visas for intracompany transferees.
Extending Visas and Changing Status for Existing
Employees
We help employers extend the temporary working
visas of existing employees, or apply for a change of status to a
new visa category. For example, students from foreign countries can
work in the United States for up to one year after graduation on an
F-1 student visa (practical training), but after that they must change
to an H-1B visa. Because H-1B status is limited to 6 years, we often
help employers obtain green cards for key employees during such 6-year
period.
Visas for U.S. Employees Working Overseas
We can help employers arrange for working visas
for U.S. employees who are being transferred overseas (such as to
Japan) for a temporary period of time.
