Davis Wright Tremaine served as legal counsel to Aiyana Weidler, the owner, architect and developer, throughout project development and execution of the 1620 Broadway building.

Located in Portland’s Lloyd District, this mixed-used structure consists of 28,000 sq-ft. of retail space at the ground level, including US Bank Branch, underground parking, plus 88 condominium units on the upper floors. This is a very green project with an open atrium that contains a garden area which serves as an onsite storm water detention and treatment facility.

As an integral part of the team, DWT represented the legal interests of Aiyana Weidler on the closing of the bank loan, CC&Rs for the condominiums, and commercial tenant leases. DWT also advised on construction and insurance contract issues to help ensure the quality construction necessary to successfully complete this project.
