Davis Wright Tremaine represented a joint venture comprised of Flynn Properties, Whitehall Street Real Estate Funds and GEM Realty Capital in the $178,500,000 sale of 225 Bush Street, an historic class A office building located in the north financial district of San Francisco. The buyer was German investment group SEB Immobilien-Investment GmbH. 225 Bush Street, a 22-story office structure, was originally built in the 1920s as the headquarters for Standard Oil of California. The 575,600-sf building’s tenants include NBC Universal, Design Within Reach, Bank of America Securities, and Greater Bay Bank.
