and private real estate syndications, rehabilitation tax credit
projects, traditional and "reverse" like-kind exchanges,
involuntary conversions, and conservation easements. Our business
tax lawyers also handle timber tax issues as well as state and local
tax issues relating to Real Estate & Land Use, including structuring transactions
to minimize state and local transfer or excise taxes, conducting
appeals from tax assessments, managing current use benefits under
property tax laws, and obtaining property tax exemptions.
