We have represented hotel clients in billions of dollars of real estate transactions, financed by groups such as Goldman Sachs, Chase Manhattan, Morgan Stanley, GMAC, GECC, HSBC, AFL-CIO Building Investment Trust, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, EuroHypo, and many others. We have created joint ventures that combine developer expertise with investors in search of high returns. We are leaders in the representation of cross-border investments, and are experienced in tax treaties and the corporate structures that best service the international investor. We have formed a China Outbound direct Investment group to assist Chinese hotel investors from our Shanghai and domestic offices, recently completing the acquisition of five boutique San Francisco hotels for client APIC/Haiyi.
