Represented nonprofit healthcare system in repositioning its 28-acre hospital and medical center campus adjacent to Microsoft in Redmond for sale as a transit-oriented, mixed-use development site. Obtained approvals for 2.8 million square feet of development including residential, hotel/conference center, office and retail structures.

Master plan approval and master use permits for major hospital expansion

Developed and obtained City of Seattle approval of Seattle Children’s Hospital Major Institution Master Plan and obtained Master Use Permits for hospital expansion projects.

Development agreement for master plan community

Represented master developer of Issaquah Highlands, a 2,200-acre master plan community in Issaquah, Wash.; representation included negotiation of development agreement and major infrastructure.

Negotiated land acquisition for the development of a LEED certified, high-density, mixed-use, transit-oriented development with approximately 800 residential units in midtown San Jose, Calif.

YWCA affordable housing project

Represented master developer in land sale establishing development standards, and Declaration of CC&Rs for YWCA’s Family Village at Issaquah, an affordable housing project with 146 units and related childcare, office, and community service facilities.

Rezoning and development approvals for mixed-use community

Represented property owner in obtaining approval of rezone, master plan approval, and 20-year development agreement for transit-oriented, mixed-use community with 1,400 residences and 1.4 million square feet of office, retail, hotel and conference center uses.

Defended appeal to Central Puget Sound Growth Management Hearings Board challenging City of Everett's approval of comprehensive plan, rezone, and master plan for major expansion of hospital.
