Summer associates receive exposure to a variety of practice groups. They work on challenging projects ranging from legal research and preparation of memoranda, pleadings, contracts and other legal documents to attendance at deposition, hearings, trials and client conferences.

Summer associates may request assignments from our Summer Associate Assignment Database, or directly from attorneys practicing in areas of law in which they have an interest. Client projects, community service work, and in-house projects, such as articles and updates on the law, are available opportunities. Summer associates work directly with assigning attorneys and gain firsthand legal experience.
