| Associate work is reviewed regularly on an individual basis, followed by a formal evaluation every six months. This formal evaluation supplements ongoing consultations and evaluations that occur in the ordinary course of working with other lawyers in the firm.
New lawyers are generally considered for partnership after approximately seven and one-half years with the firm. However, there is no minimum period before consideration for admission, and no entry restrictions based on partner/associate ratios. Partnership decisions are based on a number of factors including integrity, trust, professional responsibility, profitability, ability to work with others, quality of legal work, professional development, administrative and management activities, as well as participation in bar, civic and charitable organizations.
