Patent Agent

This position is responsible for drafting specifications and claims for provisional, non-provisional, and PCT patent applications; responding to Office Actions and USPTO correspondence, performing research, and other responsibilities as necessary. Must have a Ph.D. in molecular biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or related biomedical field; passed the USPTO Patent Bar; 2+ years of experience as a Patent Agent; familiarity with NCBI applications such as PubMed and Blast; a high degree of attention to detail; and excellent writing and proofreading skills.
