Recent examples of our efforts on behalf of
clients involved in design and construction include:
- Drafted and negotiated design and construction
contracts, and successfully represented owner in resolution of
claims for a $150 million newspaper production facility.
- Represented the owner in drafting and
negotiation of design and multiple prime contractor agreements,
as well as litigation defense in connection with a $140 million
seafood processing facility. Represented the lender in connection
with the review and negotiation of construction and related contracts
for a $60 million medical research and treatment facility.
- Drafted and negotiated design and construction
contracts for a $25 million addition and renovation of a pediatric
hospital and medical center. Successfully defended operating contractor
and interests of public owner in $3 million of claims on Department
of Energy project.
- Assisted construction manager in resolution
of claims arising on $250 million nuclear research facility, including
negotiation with multiple prime contractors and Board of Contract
Appeals litigation.
