FEBRUARY 27, 2015 – In the 21st edition of its annual list, “100 Best Companies to Work for in Oregon,” Oregon Business magazine has ranked the law firm of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP as the #3 best place to work among large companies.
The honor was announced last night at a gala event at the Oregon Convention Center.

The award is not only a testament to our congenial workplace, but also to our clients, who allow us to deliver top-notch legal service on their challenging and interesting work.”
The Oregon Business ranking is based primarily on surveys of employees, as well as detailed assessments of employee benefits. In order for a large company to be eligible for the “100 Best Companies” list, at least 10% of its Oregon workforce must complete the survey.
In honoring DWT, the magazine highlighted a number of perks and amenities at the firm, including the annual "Service Together" awards, which recognize outstanding staff members for their contributions to the firm’s success. Winners receive a crystal award and cash bonus.
The magazine also took note of the firm’s wellness program “Doing Wellness Together,” which encourages healthy lifestyles and rewards participants with lower-priced health insurance. Eight-week sabbaticals and “a much-loved Halloween party” were also cited.
Firmwide, Davis Wright Tremaine has received numerous accolades for its workplace policies and practices in the past year. These include:
- A perfect score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s annual Corporate Equality Index, recognizing the firm as one of the country’s "Best Places to Work for LGBT Equality."
