APRIL 30, 2014 – Kelli Sager and Alonzo Wickers IV, partners in the Los Angeles office of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, have once again been named to The Hollywood Reporter’s annual list of "the top 100 entertainment attorneys in America." This is Wickers' fourth year on the "Power Lawyers" list. Sager has been recognized every year since the inaugural list in 2007.
The "Power Lawyers" were honored at a breakfast in Beverly Hills.
The magazine cited Sager's representation last year of Paul Anka in a defamation suit brought by Mohamed Al Fayed over a passage in the singer’s autobiography, and also noted her work defending the producers of the TV shows “Storage Wars” and “Stars Earn Stripes” in separate actions.
Wickers was described as "still fighting for satirists' rights to be fearless. He's been pioneering First Amendment case law in the gaming world, as well," the publication said, citing his work on behalf of Electronic Arts.
