OCT. 9, 2013 – Gray Coleman, a partner in the New York City office of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, was among the honorees at the annual “Broadway Salutes” celebration and was featured in a video screened at the event.
"Broadway Salutes" is presented annually by The Broadway League (the national trade association of Broadway producers) and the Coalition of Broadway Unions and Guilds. The public event honors a wide range of select theater professionals — including actors, producers, managers, theater owners, agents, publicists, designers, directors, choreographers, agents and more — who have dedicated their careers to the Broadway industry.
In more than 25 years as an attorney, Coleman has served as production counsel to numerous theatrical productions on Broadway and elsewhere. He also represents a number of leading theatrical producers and theater companies, including The Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization, the Public Theater/New York Shakespeare Festival, the Goodman Theatre of Chicago, Blue Man Productions, DreamWorks Theatricals, and RKO Stage, as well as the authors and owners of such legendary works as Annie, The Sound of Music, and Anything Goes. He is chair of Davis Wright Tremaine’s entertainment transactions practice.
Many of this year’s honorees, including Coleman, participated in a video sharing their thoughts on the business and their careers, which was screened at the Sept. 24 event, held in Times Square.
