The 2020 U.S. Presidential election has been unlike anything seen in recent U.S. history. What do the results mean for your business and employees? This year, our attorneys will sit down for an informal discussion to explore these issues in a different format than years past, sharing their ideas and expectations regarding how the election will impact employment-related issues through the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of government.
The presenters wills examine the Administration's stated or expected employment policies and agency activity with regard to employment-related matters like:
- How will the National Labor Relations Board and labor relations policy generally be affected?
- The national COVID Response and OSHA – what will change and what will remain the same?
- Will there be changes to Executive Order 13950, the EEOC, and the/or OFCCP?
Our speakers will explore expectations around employment-related legislative priorities, such as national minimum wage, independent contractor identification, the Equality Act, and the Paycheck Fairness Act.
We will discuss pending employment cases before the U.S. Supreme Court, and how the Supreme Court's new makeup may impact employment cases in the future.
