New generation of media lawyers

The Times and leading barristers launch a legal fellowship scheme

The Times legal department has expanded its links with leading law firms and barristers chambers to help equip the next generation of lawyers with the specialist skills needed by the fast-moving media industry.

Fellowship schemes run by leading media chambers and law firms have collaborated with Times Newspapers Ltd (TNL) to give trainees and junior lawyers the chance to work with its in-house legal team, and to nurture new talent in media law.

This adds to the placements already offered to pupil barristers media sets including 1 Brick Court, Matrix and Doughty Street Chambers.
