We believe in doing more than just being located in a community, we are dedicated to playing an active role.

We have much to contribute to our communities and we embrace our opportunity to give back. Our attorneys sit on the boards of the Eastside's leading business and cultural organizations, including the Bellevue Downtown Association, OneRedmond, the Bellevue Art Museum, Hopelink, and the Tateuchi Center. Members of our staff are also very actively involved in the community and work tirelessly on community projects, in addition to leading fundraising efforts for United Way, Food Lifeline’s Food Frenzy, and other nonprofit organizations.

We also leverage our relationships to rally support for important causes. For example, our attorneys, staff, friends, and families have cleaned stables for the Little Bit Riding School, cleared the landscape and planted Christmas trees for Avondale House, and sorted and boxed food for local food banks. In 2017, we were named “Employer of the Year” by AtWork!, an innovative nonprofit conduit between people with disabilities and mainstream employers in the community.

In 2018, DWT's Washington state offices were named among the Puget Sound Business Journal’s top corporate philanthropists. The following are just some of the organizations we support through pro bono work, leadership involvement, and financial assistance:
