Chris C. Morley

Chris Morley concentrates his practice on civil and criminal litigation, with an emphasis on white-collar defense and enforcement actions, complex commercial litigation, and First Amendment litigation. For several years, Chris has supported clients in the rapidly growing legal cannabis industry, advising on the interplay between state and federal law, regulatory concerns, and related matters. He is one of the leaders of the firm’s cannabis law practice.

Represented major pipeline company in a multibillion dollar contract and business torts dispute in Texas state court jury trial. (2014)

Successfully defended foreign client resisting non-party discovery requests seeking sensitive commercial information for use in an ongoing antitrust class action.
