Kaley L. Fendall

Kaley Fendall focuses her practice on commercial litigation, with an emphasis on antitrust claims and business torts. Defending SANYO North America Corporation and SANYO Consumer Electronics Corp., Ltd. with respect to price fixing allegations. (Ongoing)

LMG Concerts, LLC v. Salem Communications Corporation, et al.

Representing Salem Communications Corporation, a radio broadcaster, against antitrust and unfair competition claims brought by local concert promoter. (Ongoing)

Leatherman Tool Group, Inc. v. Coast Cutlery Corp.

Represented Leatherman Tool Group in false advertising and unfair competition claims against its competitor Coast Cutlery for false statements made by Coast regarding the steel used in its knives. (D. Or. 2012)

Expedite, Inc. v. Alaska Airlines, Inc.

Represented Alaska Airlines, Inc. against antitrust and unfair trade practices claims brought by vendor. Settled for nominal amount while motion to dismiss was pending. (D. Or. 2011)

Lindley Contours, LLC v. AABB Fitness Holdings, Inc., et al.

Represented defendants in franchise dispute. Obtained complete dismissal of plaintiff’s claims on defendants’ motion to dismiss based on lack of personal jurisdiction. (Douglas Cty. (Or.) Ct. 2011)

Deneault v. Nike, Inc.

Obtained partial summary judgment and favorable settlement in single-plaintiff employment case. Plaintiff sought compensatory and punitive damages on claims of age and disability discrimination, failure to accommodate, and retaliation claims. (Multnomah Cty. (Or.) Ct. 2013)

Nolan v. Transcend Services, Inc.

Obtained summary judgment on wage and hour claims brought under Fair Labor Standards Act and Oregon wage statutes. (D. Or. 2011)
