Megan Claydon is a multi-faceted entertainment attorney, well-versed in providing clearance and transactional entertainment legal services to content creators of all kinds: production companies, studios, networks, social media companies, and other clients in both traditional and digital media. She provides pre-broadcast review services for a wide array of scripted and unscripted audio-visual productions and podcasts, and advises on a variety of related legal issues including defamation, privacy, right-of-publicity, fair use, and other intellectual property matters. She performs a broad range of transactional entertainment legal services, including production legal, chain of title review, development work, and legal deliverable due diligence. Previously, she also represented content creators in litigation involving claims of copyright infringement, credit and distribution disputes, and other intellectual property and First Amendment issues.
