Megan K. Claydon

Megan Claydon concentrates her practice on media, entertainment, intellectual property, and First Amendment matters. She provides pre-broadcast review services for production companies, television networks, and studios, and advises on a variety of related legal issues including defamation, privacy, right-of-publicity, fair use, and other intellectual property matters. She regularly performs chain of title reviews, and has experience interpreting, drafting, and negotiating a wide array of development, production, and distribution agreements. She has represented content creators in litigation involving claims of copyright infringement, credit and distribution disputes, and other intellectual property and First Amendment issues. Before joining DWT, she represented clients in a broad range of complex commercial disputes, as well as provided advice and counsel on intellectual property and employment matters.
