Juliana Gerrick

Juliana Gerrick's practice focuses on consumer financial services regulation, drawing on a background working in the compliance function of a leading financial institution to inform her approach. She advises banks and non-bank financial services providers, including credit card issuers, point-of-sale lenders, and technology companies, with a focus on federal and state regulation of open- and closed-end credit.
Juliana's regulatory experience covers a wide range of key financial services areas, including credit card operations, fair lending, military lending, credit advertising, and consumer reporting, among others. She has extensive experience guiding clients through the regulatory complexities of the CARD Act and Regulation Z, and she regularly counsels on state licensed lending and loan broker laws in connection with preemption issues, new product development and structuring lending programs and partnerships.
Juliana also is the co-leader of DWT's FinTech Women initiative, which brings together women in financial services and technology to discuss topics relevant to the industry and their professional development.
