Barbara S. Jost
Partner
Having practiced before the FERC and the federal courts of appeal for more than 35 years, Barbara Jost has litigated dozens of pipeline rate and certificate cases on behalf of producers, industrials, electric and gas utilities, generators, state commissions, and municipal entities. She also advises on natural gas sales and transportation contract issues, and on natural gas tariff and operational issues such as capacity release, gas quality and interchangeability, right-of-way disputes, safety, siting, environmental impacts, and compliance with FERC rules prohibiting energy market manipulation.
Barbara provides advice on resolving regulatory disputes and assistance in energy transactions to energy clients nationwide. Her breadth of experience also enables her to efficiently troubleshoot issues for active-energy market participants as well as businesses and other entities that have a lower level of involvement with federal energy regulation.
